A startup (new start-up company) in Daegu is drawing attention by carrying out a big data utilization project in connection with Kyungpook National University. It is expected to serve as an example for establishing a cooperative system in the big data field, which is one of the pillars of ABB (artificial intelligence, big data, and blockchain) intensively fostered by Daegu City in the 8th popular election.

“Haedal Programming,” an IT venture company in Daegu, announced on the 2nd that it will push for a “data analysis-based startup win-win project” in connection with Kyungpook National University’s Gyeongsang National University and SW Education Center. The purpose of this project is to provide solutions to young startups to help management make decisions through data analysis.

Startups start their business based on creative ideas, but most of them have difficulty getting on track. Big data analysis can be helpful for early start-ups as it has a wide range of applications such as customer management, management efficiency improvement, and business plan establishment.

In the case of ‘Clindy’, a real oral product subscription service company, was provided with the solutions necessary to specifically establish marketing strategies through the project. It was found that most of the customers who use the Clindy service are MZ generations in their 10s and 20s who suffer from oral diseases, and they become interested in oral products after orthodontic treatment. In addition, it was analyzed that a woman in her 40s who purchases family toothbrushes and toothpaste could become a customer base with great potential.
