Found a project to develop blockchain games in Clayton

Kakao’s public blockchain platform Clayton announced on the 3rd that it will hold “Blockchain Game Hackathon 2022” with “Asia Blockchain Gaming Alliance (ABGA).”

Clayton will discover promising projects that will lead the future blockchain game ecosystem through Hackathon. It will also actively support the projects to create synergy within the Clayton ecosystem.

Hackathon is conducted for individuals or teams in the early stages of the project. The deadline for applying for Hackathon and submitting the project is until 12:59 a.m. (Korea Standard Time) on August 27. If you want to participate, you can submit a project through Dorahacks, a global Hackathon host and web3 developer community.

Clayton will review the run-off project for about three weeks from the 27th to September 15th. At the time of final selection, the project will be announced by participating in the Demo Day at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore on September 26. On Demo Day, attended by about 300 blockchain industry officials, 10 winning projects will be selected on the same day. The total prize money is $90,000 (about 100 million won), and the winner will receive $20,000 (about 26 million won).

In addition, the winning project will be registered as the Clayton Community Project and will receive investment support worth a total of $2 million (about 2.6 billion won). Opportunities to participate in crust investment and incubation programs are also provided. Crust is a blockchain subsidiary established in Singapore by Kakao and provides consulting such as business modeling, marketing, and legal advice to projects through collaboration with professional accelerators.
