Liverpool FC, a popular club in the English Premier League, has selected Sorare, a sports-based irreplaceable token (NFT) game company, as its official partner.

Liverpool announced on its official channel on the 22nd (local time) that it has expanded its partnership with Sore, a player-owned sports game company, and selected it as an official global partner.

Sore is a platform that deals with NFT cards containing the faces of soccer players. The user will be compensated according to the actual performance of the player he or she has.

Liverpool’s commercial director Ben Lati said, “Liverpool’s goal is to make fans feel connected to Liverpool with a better experience,” adding, “We are happy to provide new initiatives to our fans through partnerships with Sorre.”

Liverpool plans to provide benefits such as stadium visits, goods and video content to fans who purchase NFT in the future.

Earlier on the 7th of this month, Sore also signed a partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA) and announced its plan to release the game.
